Mamula is located on the island Lastavica or Rondina, as it was called by the old Venetians. The island is placed at the entrance to the Boka Bay, and it is possible to reach it only by the sea from several directions. In 1853 on this rocky island Austro-Hungarian general Lazar Mamula built a fort which is now known as Fort Mamula.
Departure is on Saturday, April 1 at 10 am in front of the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic, and return is on Sunday, April 2 around 6 pm.
Tour price is 35 EUR and includes transportation by bus Niksic – Herceg Novi – Niksic, transport by boat from Herceg Novi to the island and back, lunch and photos.
You should bring: personal ID documents, camping equipment (tent, mat, sleeping bag), food for breakfast and lunch, adequate supplies of water for two days (4-5 liters), comfortable shoes, warm clothing, sunscreen and a swimsuit (in case you decide to have a swim ).
